Liberalism whether political or religious is the most destructive reasoning known to man. Satan has been having a field day with the liberal mindset and progressive thinking for far too long. Political liberalism has almost destroyed our country and religious liberals will not be happy till they destroy God's church. Just as bad as liberalism is the apathy and fear of those who claim to be Christians. The fear of being put down or scoffed at and the attitude that I have done my part I am saved is just as dangerous.
We are a called out people. We are to be different. We are to take a stand on the word of God and be immovable. I ask you do you see that in your fellow Christians today? Do you see it in yourself?
I am not saying all Christians are this way, but far too many are of the mind that God is going to fight all the battles and they have no part in the defense of the word. Far too many have been led down the primrose path staring out through rose colored glasses. The wolves are no longer at the door they are inside devouring the sheep all around us.
Hos_4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Do we not truly reap what we sow? Some Christians are seed planters, others water that seed so it will grow. If we take seriously the command to spread the Good News surely God will give the increase. When persecution came upon those of the first century by Saul what happened? Act 8:3-4 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Could it be that we have become more like the Thessalonians than those of Berea. Do we truly search the word today to be sure what is taught is in accordance with the will of God?
Folks if you just keep standing there doing nothing you are part of the problem not the solution! Liberalism will eat you alive and take away your salvation. You must wake up and go into battle you can't hide in your church house and be safe any longer.
I implore you get up go out with the full armor of God and fight the good fight. The souls of others and your very soul depend on it
